Bakers Assistant Team Member Must have full Australian working rights We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Baker Assistant Team Member to join our bakery team. Located in Molendinar. This is a casual role, offering a Monday to Friday position of set hours 8am to 2pm. This role is based behind the scenes, helping prepare products for sale, keeping the workspace clean, and supporting the day-to-day running of production. Key Responsibilities · Prepare bakery items and products according to shop standards · Working with timelines · Assisting our bakers in the preparation of a variety of freshly baked goods, including pastries and desserts · Maintain a clean and hygienic preparation area at all times · Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures · Operate equipment safely and report any issues · Help with stock rotation, storage, and basic production tasks · Work closely with the team to meet daily production needs What We’re Looking For · Experience in food preparation, hospitality, or kitchen work is preferred · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · Strong ability to manage time · Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and detail · Good teamwork and communication skills · Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn · Understanding of safe food handling practices · Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks What We Offer At Wensleys Traditional Fine Fayre', we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
