What you'll be doing Conduct conveyor belt splice QA inspections and compile detailed reports. Take measurements and perform belt thickness testing / interpret wear trends. Conduct belt cord scans, analyse results, and provide recommendations. Install, configure, and commission digital condition monitoring systems. Assist with troubleshooting and fault finding on monitoring equipment. Prepare professional technical reports for mine site clients. Support shutdown inspections and breakdown investigations. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site safety standards. Candidate Profile Experience working on mine sites (FIFO highly desirable) Conveyor belt inspection or splicing experience Conveyor belt splice QA Strong safety mindset and understanding of mining procedures Ability to work autonomously in remote environments Competent with basic computer systems and reporting Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues Experience performing belt thickness testing or NDT inspections Experience installing or commissioning technical equipment Ability to pass client site requirements including fitness testing (medical and drug & alcohol screening) Qualifications/Licences Current Australian Driver’s Licence Conveyor belt splice QA (advantageous) Working at Heights / Confined Space / High Risk Work Please Note: Our recruitment process will include an interview, national police check, and a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test).
