About the Role We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of AV projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate would have experience as an AV, electrical or data Project Manager and will have experience with complex installations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate teams, engage clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Oversee delivery, completion, and handover of all projects Lead and support technicians, including task delegation and progress tracking Coordinate site logistics (start times, parking, site access, etc.) Train and mentor junior staff on installation, commissioning and best practices Liaise with clients during project handover, including basic system training Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors Complete and manage project documentation (handover docs, equipment registers, as-builts) Review schematics and plans pre-project to identify risks or issues Conduct site visits as required Run toolbox talks and team meetings About You Proven experience in project management (AV, construction, or technical environments preferred) Strong computer literacy, experience using management systems such as Simpro, Aroflo, MYOB etc Knowledge of AV & IT networked systems Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Excellent communication and client-facing skills Highly organised with strong documentation discipline An understanding of WHS requirements for construction sites Solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail Must have current Australian work rights Why Join Focus AV?
