We are currently seeking an experienced and people-focused HR & Payroll Specialist to join our Head Office team in Molendinar on the Gold Coast in a full-time, onsite, Monday to Friday role. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. This permanent, full-time position is essential for maintaining compliance with local regulations and enhancing employee satisfaction through efficient payroll management. Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee data is up to date. Award Interpretation, reconciliation and internal audits Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies. Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure seamless integration of payroll and employee records. Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a HR Advisor or Payroll Specialist, preferably within the retail industry. Strong understanding of HR & payroll regulations and compliance requirements in Australia. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in Employment Hero HR / Payroll software (Keypay) is essential Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
