We’re currently looking for both experienced and inexperienced Collections Officers to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end management of accounts, working with customers to achieve sustainable repayment outcomes while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and industry guidelines. You will be the driver of your own success and play a key role in ensuring the business continues to operate with a high level of professionalism and dedication to supporting customers. The day-to-day! Here’s what your day might look like: Confidently manage inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with an existing or past relationship – no cold calling. Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts from start to finish, providing tailored solutions and ensuring timely follow-up and action. Utilise skip tracing techniques to locate customers and establish contact. Investigate and manage escalated accounts including hardship, disputes, and potential legal matters. Collaborate with a supportive team to achieve goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). Maintain accurate records and use company software to manage customer cases. Contribute to a positive and energetic workplace culture, where teamwork thrives. What are we looking for? We’re looking for candidates who: Have proven customer relations and objection handling skills. Are confident managing sensitive or complex customer conversations with empathy, while remaining firm and professional. Are self-motivated, results-driven and eager to learn. Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive, solutions-focused attitude. Have strong attention to detail, organisation and time management. Can work independently while contributing to the wider team. Enjoys working in a team environment whilst also being challenged to achieve individual goals. Experience in collections is a bonus, but not a requirement — what matters most is your drive and potential!
