Machine Operator (FICEP Beamline / bandsaw & Overhead Crane (Afternoon Shift) Casual Position – 3 - 6 Months Work Location: Campbellfield, VIC Company: TRS Resourcing About the Role: TRS Resourcing seeks a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's dynamic team in Melbourne. This role involves operating state-of-the-art CNC FICEP Beamline and bandsaw machinery to cut and shape metal components to precise specifications. The position is casual for 3 - 6 Months, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC beamline and bandsaw machines to accurately cut and shape metal materials. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and material requirements. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Requirements: Proven experience operating CNC beamline and bandsaw machinery in a metal fabrication environment. Overhead Workshop Crane Experince Strong understanding of metalworking principles and the ability to read technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
