Job Title: Field Specialist - DD/LWD Location: Roma, Queensland Role Summary: A Field Specialist - DD/LWD leads wellsite operations by managing projects, guiding junior engineers, delivering technical advice to customers and third party teams, analyzing system data to resolve complex issues, and ensuring all work is verified for successful delivery and sign off. Essential Responsibilities:- Managing projects to completion and communicating updates to internal and external customers Providing instruction and supervision to junior field engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities Communicating technical guidance and advice to customers and third-party wellsite colleagues Analyzing and interpreting system information and data to provide effective resolution to complex problems at well sites Ensuring work is verified to enable successful customer delivery and sign-off of agreed work objectives Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma required. 3-5 years' experience in directional drilling & LWD experience. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal customers and suppliers Be able to demonstrate good hands-on knowledge and experience of directional drilling Demonstrate experience of leading, mentoring and motivating teams in a technical environment Be an experienced problem solver, with a methodical approach to solving complex customer issues Be able to work in a variety of environments including on-shore facilities and customer locations Be willing to gain industry experience and undergo product line training Desired Characteristics:- Be able to run motor and rotary steerable system in directional well.
