This is a HR-focused role with the opportunity to grow into WHS, compliance and broader workplace advisory work. Why this role stands out HR advice that is practical, trusted and actually used by business owners Exposure to HR, employee relations, WHS, compliance and workplace systems Real flexibility, including full-time, part-time and school-hours options Ongoing training and professional development Variety across industries, workplaces and business challenges A team that values people, initiative and doing things properly What you’ll be doing Providing practical HR and employee relations advice to employers, managers and leadership teams Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, variations, policies and HR documentation Supporting performance management, workplace issues, investigations and terminations Applying employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, Modern Awards and EBAs Conducting HR and payroll compliance reviews Helping businesses build HR systems that are clear, compliant and easy to use Working alongside our WHS team to understand safety systems and workplace risk Contributing HR and workplace insight to improve our HR and compliance SaaS platform What we’re looking for We’re open on background, but the right person will bring: Experience as a HR Generalist, HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, People and Culture Advisor, Employee Relations professional or similar Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance, ER and exits Confidence working with employment contracts, HR letters, policies and workplace documentation Practical knowledge of employment law, Fair Work, Modern Awards and workplace obligations Strong written communication and attention to detail The ability to communicate clearly with business owners, managers and staff Initiative, ownership and a willingness to keep learning Interest in WHS, compliance systems or workplace risk Professionals with employment law, ER, Fair Work, industrial relations, employment contracts or workplace relations experience are also encouraged to apply. You do not need to be a WHS expert on day one. A WHS background is highly valued, but the right attitude, HR foundation and willingness to learn are just as important.
