Your new role As an Admin Assistant - Accounting, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager and broader finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a varied position combining accounting support, administration and payroll backup responsibilities. Key duties will include: Processing operational transactions and timesheet data to support accounts payable and receivable functions Assisting with the preparation and issuance of customer invoices Supporting credit applications and debt collection processes Providing administrative support across the business units, including handling general office enquiries Assisting with payroll processes (weekly and fortnightly) as backup support Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience in a similar accounting/admin role Exposure to accounting, bookkeeping, finance or business-related disciplines Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers Confidence working across multiple systems and platforms Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong organisational and time management skills A proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Must have your own transport to work.
