About the role: This is a full-time position reporting to the Financial Controller. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, with a strong focus on revenue accounting, financial reporting, and month-end processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders while contributing to process improvements and the organisation’s overall financial performance. Key Responsibilities: • Manage revenue processes including daily reconciliations, revenue uploads, invoicing, and government funding drawdowns • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting support • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end reporting, including audit requirements • Monitor expenses, process accruals, and ensure adherence to budgets and internal policies • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support internal controls and reporting accuracy • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Skills and Experience: • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Experience in an accounting or finance role • Experience with TechnologyOne, XAP (or similar systems), and strong Excel skills • Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business Benefits: • Work within a purpose-driven organisation in the education sector • Competitive salary of $96,000 Super • Convenient location • Daily discounted lunch • Free access to on-site gym
