Formaggi Ocello is now looking for a Retail Manager to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for: Managed product mix across artisan cheeses, gourmet groceries, cured meats, hampers and catering products to meet customer demand and seasonal trends. Monitored stock levels, coordinated inventory replenishment, and maintained high service standards in-store and online. Assisted in developing purchasing strategies, supplier relationships, pricing structures, and promotional campaigns for premium imported and local products. Promoted the business through customer engagement, product tastings, merchandising, social media support, and in-store marketing activities. Provided expert advice to customers on cheese selection, pairings, storage, and product use to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance. Maintained accurate records of stock movements, sales transactions, supplier orders, and daily financial operations. Supported budgeting activities by monitoring sales performance, controlling wastage, and contributing to cost management initiatives. Assisted with recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of retail staff to ensure efficient store operations. Ensured compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and company operational procedures. About you: At least 1 year of experience as Retail Manager; Strong retail operations and inventory management skills; Great customer service skills; Ability to supervise, train and lead staff members; Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $76,000 - $85,000
