About the Role You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance across a busy food-grade manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and support continuous production operations. Key duties include: Preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and production equipment Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults efficiently Responding quickly to breakdowns in a fast-paced FMCG environment Supporting production teams to maintain operational efficiency Completing scheduled maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Maintaining high safety and quality standards at all times About You Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter Previous experience within an FMCG or industrial manufacturing environment Food manufacturing or food-grade site experience highly regarded, but not essential Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team Strong communication skills and a positive attitude What’s on Offer Permanent full-time position $55.00 base rate 15% afternoon shift loading ($63.25 per hour on afternoons) Day and afternoon shifts available Plenty of overtime opportunities available No weekend work Regular pay reviews Long-term job security within a stable and growing business Supportive team environment and well-maintained facility
