Contract Length: 12‑month initial contract, with further 2 x 12‑month extensions available Security Clearance & Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum NV1 security clearance Location: QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA, TAS with Hybrid work environment What You Will Do Lead the delivery of a large-scale enterprise transformation program focused on modernising legacy systems into scalable, future-ready platforms. Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment with evolving business priorities. Drive program planning, execution, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within scope. Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively while ensuring clear mitigation strategies are in place. Oversee program governance, reporting, and performance tracking, providing regular updates to executive leadership. Champion Agile ways of working and support teams transitioning from traditional delivery models to modern, iterative approaches. Mentor and support multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Ensure vendor and partner deliverables align with contractual commitments and program objectives. Work closely with program offices to establish reporting frameworks and ensure transparent communication of progress and risks. Strong expertise in Agile delivery, including working within or transitioning organisations to Agile frameworks. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/programs (5), balancing competing priorities effectively. Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering high-quality executive-level communications. Solid track record in managing program performance, KPIs, and delivering measurable business outcomes. Experience working within structured, compliance-driven environments (e.g., public sector or regulated industries). Strong vendor and contract management experience, including negotiation and performance oversight. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on collaboration, team development, and culture. Nice to Have Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist). Experience with DevOps practices and modern engineering delivery models. Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms. Relevant tertiary or professional qualifications in Project Management, Business, or Public Administration. Exposure to regulatory, legislative, or compliance-driven environments. Ability to quickly grasp domain-specific knowledge in complex operational environments.
