About the Team Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization comprises more than 800 customer- focused technical sales professionals dedicated to aligning technology solutions with customers' business challenges and strategic objectives. The team is responsible for identifying and shaping opportunities, while also driving channel partner enablement and technical training initiatives. Acting as trusted advisors, these professionals are recognised as subject matter experts by Nutanix sales teams, customer success organisations, business partners, and customers alike. You will report to the Systems Engineering Director, who is known for fostering an open, collaborative, and supportive leadership style that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional growth. Your Role Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops that clearly articulate the value and benefits of Nutanix solutions. Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and align Nutanix technologies to support digital transformation initiatives. Provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, proposal development, and technical validation. Design, install, manage, and execute Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) and solution evaluations in support of sales opportunities, both directly and through channel partners. Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop strategic account plans and tailored technical solutions that address customer requirements. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor within assigned accounts. Serve as a subject matter expert across Nutanix solutions and the broader infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and modern application ecosystem. Support customers and partners through technical consultation, product capability assessments, and solution validation activities. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to address customer concerns, resolve technical issues, and escalate product feedback where required. Drive business outcomes by supporting revenue objectives, securing key opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer engagement. What You Will Bring 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, including 5 years in a Presales or Systems Engineering capacity. Strong presales expertise across virtualization, multi-cloud technologies (private and public cloud), and/or cloud-native technologies and modern application platforms. Solid understanding of data center and cloud technologies, including storage, virtualization, automation, and infrastructure platforms. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, execute detailed action plans, and navigate complex customer environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and partner ecosystems. Hands-on technical aptitude with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to evolving market demands. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. A high level of personal integrity, professionalism, and a genuine desire to learn, grow, and excel.
