About the role You will work within the Technology team and partner closely with business stakeholders to build awareness, confidence and adoption. The role requires someone who is brilliant at taking people on the journey. You will translate the value of Copilot into simple, relevant and practical messages, design and deliver change activities, support leaders and champions, and help people understand how Copilot can improve everyday ways of working. This role is hands-on and delivery focused. You will be comfortable moving between change strategy and practical execution, from stakeholder engagement and communications through to training support, adoption measurement, feedback loops and resistance management. Foundation Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Proven experience leading change and adoption for enterprise technology, digital workplace or AI-enabled productivity initiatives. Demonstrated ability to engage non-technical audiences and make technology change feel clear, practical and relevant to day-to-day work. Hands-on capability across change planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, training support, adoption and reinforcement activities. Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical concepts into plain English for different audiences. Experience working with senior leaders, people managers, change champions and project teams to build advocacy and sustain momentum. Ability to identify adoption barriers, listen to user feedback and adjust the change approach based on sentiment, readiness and practical business needs. Experience coaching leaders and people managers so they can confidently support their teams through change. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving delivery environment. Pragmatic understanding of change frameworks such as Prosci or similar, with the ability to apply them in a practical rather than overly theoretical way. Experience supporting the rollout of Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, AI tools or other productivity technologies. Experience working in utilities, infrastructure, government or other large and operationally diverse organisations, highly regarded Mechanics 6-month contract with high likelihood of multiple years extensions Based in the Adelaide CBD, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
