We are seeking an experienced Estimator to assist with maintenance planning and schedules across our Farrellys Workshop. Working Monday â Friday, you’ll work to ensure the preparation of detailed, accurate and timely estimates while assisting to coordinate and monitor the maintenance of all plant equipment. About the Role Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely cost estimates across a diverse range of maintenance and fabrication projects, ensuring all scopes and requirements are clearly defined and captured Conduct comprehensive measurement and pricing of projects, identifying all labour, materials, and resource costs to produce reliable estimates Review, analyse, and compare tender submissions to assess value, risks, and compliance, while supporting the compilation and submission of high-quality tender documentation Assist with project variations, purchase orders, and cost tracking to ensure financial accuracy and alignment throughout the project lifecycle Support project reporting requirements by contributing to progress reports for major workshop repairs, including MS Project Gantt charts, weekly updates and meeting specific client reporting expectations What You’ll Bring Hold a trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Cert III) or extensive experience maintaining Caterpillar mobile plant Previous planning and scheduling experience with HME equipment Experience using CMMS, Microsoft office suite and Project Effective planning & time management skills Why Join us If you are passionate about precision, cost efficiency and delivering solutions we want you to join us!
