About Us Absolute Enterprises is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Fitter to join our team working across heavy mining and industrial component rebuilds, repairs, and overhauls. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a fast-paced workshop environment, and understands the importance of turnaround time, precision, and teamwork. Working from our Paget facilities, you’ll be involved in repairs and rebuilds on a wide range of mining equipment and components alongside our machining, engineering, and lineboring divisions. About the Role You will be responsible for: Strip, assess, repair and assemble heavy mining components Perform precision fitting and overhaul work to OEM specifications Carry out measurements, inspections and fault finding Work closely with machinists, welders and supervisors to complete repairs efficiently Read and interpret technical drawings and repair scopes Complete accurate job paperwork and quality documentation Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards Components Worked On Experience working on any of the below is highly regarded: Track frames Front axles Final Drives Washplant Equipment CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or Liebherr equipment About You We’re looking for someone who: Has previous experience in heavy component fitting and repairs Is trade qualified (Fitter & Turner / Diesel Fitter or similar) Has strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Can work independently and within a team environment Takes ownership of jobs and quality outcomes Understands mining shutdown and turnaround expectations Wants long-term stable work with a growing company What We Offer Competitive hourly rates overtime available Long-term opportunity with stable workshop work Modern workshop facilities in Paget Variety of mining and industrial repair work Supportive team environment with strong leadership Opportunity to grow with a business investing heavily in systems, equipment and people At Absolute Enterprises, we’re building a team focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement — and we’re looking for good people who want to be part of it.
