About the role We are looking for an Asset Health Evaluator to join our 24/7 Asset Health Team based at the OC. This role supports our site-based rail teams with remote monitoring and diagnosis of rollingstock, wayside and track faults across our rail network and helps to guide recovery efforts. Reporting to the Production Supervisor of Train Control Scheduling, you will/be: Providing remote response fault diagnostics to the field to recover failed trains and fixed assets Monitor rollingstock and wayside equipment for health trends and diagnose faults as they occur Quality live data recording in the Asset Health log of all reported faults and failures with response information captured accurately Follow fault response escalation processes and escalate to the Production Supervisor as required Follow Asset Health procedures and manuals when diagnosing and provide the field with appropriate fault support Escalate required faults to DIMS/HOS Yard messaging for further resolution, creating SAP notifications when required Report on the previous 24 hours’ faults and responses in our daily department meeting About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will preferably have: Rollingstock maintenance (RSM) experience, with analytical problem-solving skills Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with ability to influence outcomes through collaborative communication Confidence learning new computer systems and software applications A positive and patient attitude Confidence to decisively prioritise tasks It will also be beneficial to have: Mechanical or electrical diagnostic experience Prior SAP experience Experience using systems such as HOSDI and Foundry would be valuable but not required Heavy mobile equipment maintenance or rail operator experience Rail experience or knowledge of rail processes What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress. Our privately owned and operated rail network is an essential part of our integrated production process and services our 17 mines across the Pilbara via 1,700km of track. With depots located at Tom Price, Cape Lambert and Dampier (7 Mile), each train comprises up to three locomotives and 240 ore cars stretching to approximately 2.5 kilometres in length with over 40 trains operating per day. We are also applying and adapting technology to improve safety and productivity across our rail network.
