About the role We are seeking a highly organised Document Controller to support a major public infrastructure project. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely and compliant management of project documentation across all phases of delivery. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will maintain document control systems, ensure version control, and support the efficient flow of information across the project. What to expect in this role: Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of project documentation (design and as-builts) Maintain document control systems in line with project and client requirements Ensure accuracy, quality, and version control of all incoming and outgoing documents Coordinate document workflows including reviews, approvals, and transmittals Support project teams with document retrieval and reporting Ensure compliance with project standards, naming conventions, and document control procedures Assist with audits and ensure document control processes meet quality and compliance requirements Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely document exchange What we’re looking for: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage high volumes of documentation in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills Proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently What You’ll Need: Previous experience in a Document Controller or similar role within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects Familiarity with document management systems (e.g. Aconex, TeamBinder, or similar) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Understanding of document control processes, workflows, and compliance requirements Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience working on large-scale projects (desirable) Benefits We believe our people do their best work when they feel supported — personally and professionally.
