At MMCNQ, we’re looking for a dedicated and proactive HR Advisor to support our people and leaders across the full employee lifecycle. About the Role As the HR Advisor, you will provide responsive and proactive HR support across a broad range of people and culture functions. You will work closely with managers, leaders, and employees to deliver high-quality HR services that support organisational goals and workforce planning initiatives. This is a permanent part-time position, working 30 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting recruitment, onboarding, probation, employment changes, and offboarding processes Providing advice on HR policies, procedures, employment conditions, and industrial instruments Coordinating compliance activities including mandatory training, working rights and probity checks Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and workforce data Collaborating with Payroll and corporate services teams to support staffing and workforce needs Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with MMCNQ’s Strategic and Workforce Operational Plans What you’ll need to succeed: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree preferred). Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR advisory or senior HR administrative role. Experience in an education or not-for-profit environment (desirable). Experience with recruitment, HR systems, employee lifecycle processes, and HR compliance.
