Recovery & Support Administrator $75,954.00 per annum superannuation Full time, fixed term opportunity (until 26/02/2027) Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home - 3 days a week in office) About the opportunity The Claims and Recovery Support Division ("CaRS") is focused on supporting the recovery and return to work of injured workers. This is achieved through adopting a contemporary approach to claims management and person centered planning, to support injured workers in maximising their social and economic participation. CaRS is transforming how support and services are delivered to injured workers to improve outcomes achieved and help shape the future Recovery Service Model for the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme. Whilst the Recovery and Support Administrator is a member of the CaRS Division and provides a diverse range of administrative support in a hybrid capacity, the key focus for this position will be to support our Access to Information (ATI) requests as outlined in the accountabilities section below. Key accountabilities Utilising sound judgment and decision-making within prescribed delegations to support the downloading and review process for ATIs in accordance with Section 9 of the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation (WIRC) Act Perform a range of high-quality administrative tasks associated with managing a claim and supporting business goals, across the Claims and Recovery Support Division. Exercise judgement by identifying risks that could impact task completion and escalating appropriately Utilise a claims management system and other systems to enable effective sourcing and accurate storing of information. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, pinpointing systemic issues and recommending enhancements to administrative support processes. Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience: Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, including but not limited to: Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic) (WIRC Act) Privacy Act and associated principles Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality Strong IT skills including use of common Office software and an ability to learn less common document management and IT systems A proactive approach with the capacity to prioritize tasks that align with strategic goals.
