We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on leader to join our manufacturing team as a Lead Floor Assembly Operator – Electrical. This is a fast-paced, highly varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll lead a team of skilled assembly operators while remaining actively involved on the floor, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety expectations are consistently achieved. This opportunity is ideal for someone with substantial team leadership experience within manufacturing, electrical assembly or industrial production environments who thrives on motivating teams, solving problems and driving performance. What You’ll Be Doing Leading, mentoring and coordinating a team of 3–10 assembly operators in a busy production environment Driving team performance to achieve daily production and quality targets Providing hands-on technical support and guidance across electrical and electromechanical assembly activities Managing workflow priorities, labour allocation and production schedules Promoting a strong safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with workplace standards Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimisation Supporting training, coaching and ongoing development of team members Acting as a key link between the production floor and leadership team What We’re Looking For Proven leadership experience within manufacturing, production or electrical assembly environments Strong ability to lead teams in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting Hands-on technical capability with electrical or electromechanical assembly Excellent communication, delegation and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety A proactive, resilient and accountable leadership style Why Join Siemens?
