Job Description About the role This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a high-profile, purpose-driven organisation. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of People & Culture leads the people strategy that enables Beyond Blue’s 230 headcount to deliver our vision and community impact. As a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive team, you will be key to Beyond Blue being a high-performing, psychologically safe workplace, lead organisational change, and strengthen culture. You will ensure the People & Culture function delivers both exceptional day-to-day support and strategic, expert advice so Beyond Blue is resilient and responsive to the changing needs of our people, operating environment, and the community. About you You are a values-driven People & Culture leader who loves setting people up to succeed. You combine strategic depth, compassion and business acumen, and are happy to roll up your sleeves when necessary. You bring broad expertise across the people lifecycle and have driven excellent outcomes in complex environments. You navigate change and communicate with clarity and confidence. You can combine executive influence with practical delivery and know how to turn strategy into meaningful people outcomes. Qualifications • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related discipline. Experience • Significant experience (10 years) in senior People & Culture leadership roles within complex organisations • Proven success developing and leading P&C teams and enterprise-wide transformation. • Extensive experience advising, influencing and partnering with CEOs, Executive teams and Boards. • Track record in delivering positive employee and business outcomes in employment relations, workforce, talent and remuneration strategy, governance and risk management. Key strengths • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels • Highly developed leadership capability, operating with integrity, adaptability, resilience and calmness • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills and judgement, with an outcomes focused mindset • Sound knowledge of Australian employment and industrial relations frameworks • Strong systems capability, with proficiency in or the ability to rapidly learn systems and platforms. • Ability and willingness to switch between strategic and operational delivery.
