To support the growing demand at our Westminster branch, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team. This role is essential in helping us maintain our high standards and continue delivering exceptional dining experiences that celebrate the best of both Australian and Indian culinary traditions. We’re looking for an experienced professional who is enthusiastic about fusion cuisine and excited to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a range of fusion dishes, blending Indian flavours to create innovative, high-quality meals. Ensure consistent quality and presentation in every dish served. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen. Work closely with the head chef to create and update the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new ideas. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Assist in managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally with experience in fusion, Indian, or Australian cuisine. Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques. Passion for creative cooking and a flair for combining different culinary traditions. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintain high standards, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Food safety certification is a plus.
