Senior Engineer, Fixed Voice - Telecoms - Permanent - Hybrid About the company Tier 1 telecoms company $160k-$170k base Hybrid working About the role A market leader in telecoms are looking for a specialist engineer with strong experience in fixed voice / voice core to join their integration and maintenance team in Sydney The role would suit someone with in-depth hands-on skills on Ribbon platforms or similar. Due to the nature of the role, Australian citizenship is required. Responsibilities: Ownership of fixed voice performance New product testing and integration into the network Remediation of network and service performance failures Testing on new software and hardware Provide SME knowledge on Fixed voice core and fixed voice access Key Skills: Experience on Ribbon fixed core platforms (SBC, PSX, DMS, C20/C2SK) or similar Knowledge on SIP signalling and trace analysis Experience with monitoring tools like Polystar Advanced level 3 technical support Capable of mentoring junior engineers In-depth knowledge of network performance
