THE POSITION We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager to join the Manning Cartell team in Sydney. Combining their commercial and operational acumen with their growth mindset, our Retail Managers deliver on our vision and strategic direction by driving sales growth, maximizing profitability, and empowering our customers and our teams with the confidence to make meaningful memories RESPONSIBILITIES · Lead, inspire and motivate the team to deliver on the Manning Cartell vision and strategic direction. · Manage and develop team members by providing regular feedback, recognising talent and identifying areas for growth. · Drive results and identify operational opportunities and efficiencies with a growth mindset and an eye for continuous improvement. · Act as the Manning Cartell brand ambassador for all media and PR events. · Determine product mix, stock levels and service standards to maximise sales and profitability. · Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, including pricing strategies. · Promote and advertise the establishment’s goods and services. · Sell goods and services to customers and advise them on product use and styling. · Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions. · Ensure all store operations tasks and administration are completed accurately and efficiently. · Drive adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. · Ensure the boutique is in line with brand standards including visual display, cleanliness and personal grooming. · Undertake budget planning and capital expenditure management for the store. · Monitor and report on store KPIs, sales performance and customer experience metrics. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE · AQF Diploma or higher in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Management or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience · Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail management role, ideally within fashion or luxury retail · Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing retail teams · Strong commercial acumen with experience driving sales and profitability · Experience managing stock, inventory, and retail operations · Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills · Proficiency in retail POS systems and Microsoft Office · A passion for fashion and the Manning Cartell brand Applicants are requested to send a CV in the first instance to
