About the role We are seeking an experienced Plumber / Gas Fitter to join our team at Plumbnorth Pty ltd' in Cairns, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining plumbing and gas systems for our commercial customers. What you'll be doing Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances Perform gas fitting work, including installing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and appliances Respond to emergency call-outs and diagnose and resolve plumbing and gas-related issues Provide excellent customer service, explaining work performed and offering advice Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and best practices What we're looking for Qualified plumber with a current plumbing and gas fitting licence Minimum 3 years of experience working as a plumber, preferably in a commercial setting Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills A commitment to working safely and following all relevant regulations and procedures Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation What we offer At Plumbnorth Pty ltd, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
