They are currently looking for a compassionate and dependable Residential Support Care Worker to join their team. This position is well-suited to someone passionate about delivering person-centred support in a residential or supported living setting, and who can effectively assist individuals with varying needs while fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The annual salary for this full-time position is $76,000 to $78,000. Duties include: Provide direct personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting support for residents. Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, mobility, and medication reminders. Support residents in developing independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, and personal organisation. Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional well-being to supervisors or healthcare professionals. Implement individualised care plans in accordance with NDIS goals and participant needs. Facilitate community participation by supporting clients to attend social, recreational, and medical appointments. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, incidents, and progress notes in line with organisational policies. Ensure a safe and supportive living environment by following workplace health and safety procedures. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion. Assist with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic living environment. Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours using approved behaviour support strategies. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and Carers to deliver holistic, person-centred care. Qualifications: Must have one to three (1-3) years of experience in a similar setting. Should possess a Certificate III in Individual Support or Diploma of Community Services.
