We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Boilermaker to join our team. Duties and responsibilities: Reviewing construction drawings, fabrication plans and project specifications to determine welding and boiler making requirements for commercial and infrastructure projects. Preparing structural steel, pipes and fabricated metal components by cleaning, measuring and inspecting materials prior to assembly and installation. Operating fabrication equipment, welding tools and thermal cutting machinery to manufacture and modify metal components in line with project deadlines and quality standards. Shaping, bending and assembling steel sections, pipework and heavy fabrication materials using specialised workshop and on-site equipment. Accurately aligning and fitting structural components using precision measuring instruments and hand tools to ensure compliance with engineering specifications. Performing MIG, TIG and arc welding on structural steel, pressure vessels and construction-related metalwork for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. Conducting quality inspections of completed welds and fabricated assemblies to verify structural integrity, dimensional accuracy and adherence to Australian industry standards. Completing finishing and surface preparation tasks, including grinding, polishing and cleaning fabricated products to achieve project and client requirements. Repairing, maintaining and modifying existing steel structures and welded components to support ongoing construction, infrastructure and maintenance operations. Following workplace health and safety procedures, maintaining welding equipment and contributing to efficient project delivery within fast-paced construction environments supported by Link-Force. Qualifications and Requirement: Relevant qualification. At least 2-3 years' previous experiences in similar role. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication and structural steel work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and engineering specifications. Commitment to workplace health and safety standards within construction and industrial environments.
