We are seeking skilled and experienced Drainers to join our team. Duties and responsibilities: Reviewing construction drawings, civil plans, and project specifications to determine drainage layouts, material requirements, and installation methods for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Installing underground stormwater and wastewater drainage systems for construction sites in accordance with Australian standards, project timelines, and client requirements. Excavating, positioning, and connecting drainage pipelines, pits, inspection shafts, and associated fittings to support efficient site water management solutions. Carrying out the installation and maintenance of sewer and effluent disposal systems, ensuring reliable operation across large-scale construction and infrastructure developments. Preparing trenching areas and implementing ground support and pipe bedding systems to ensure the safe and secure placement of underground drainage infrastructure. Operating and assisting with the installation of pumping equipment, surface water control systems, and related drainage components used on commercial and civil construction projects. Conducting pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspections to confirm all drainage works comply with regulatory, environmental, and project quality standards. Repairing, upgrading, and replacing damaged drainage pipes, stormwater systems, and underground infrastructure to minimise downtime and maintain project efficiency. Coordinating with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure drainage installations are completed safely, accurately, and within project schedules. Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company quality standards while delivering reliable drainage solutions for clients nationwide. Qualifications and Requirement: Relevant qualification. At least 2-3 years' previous experiences in similar role. Strong understanding of stormwater, sewer, and underground drainage systems installation and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and technical specifications accurately.
