About the Role: Gray Puksand is seeking an ambitious Architect or Senior Interior Designer ready to take the next step in their career and play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality, city‑shaping projects from our Canberra studio. This is an opportunity for a design‑led professional with strong technical capability and leadership potential to work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning Workspace, Commercial, Education, and Health Science sectors. You will collaborate closely with a Lead Partner and a highly engaged national design team during an exciting period of growth for the studio. It is essential that you have both strong design and delivery skills and the ability to take a project from end to end, including managing teams, clients, and consultants. Your people skills and teamwork approach are as important to us as your design and technical skills, and we are seeking people who are passionate about design and driven to produce superior design outcomes. You will need to have a solid understanding of Revit and be able to produce and assist with thorough and considered documentation packages. Our Canberra studio sits in the heart of the CBD and is surrounded by a vibrant mix of commercial, and hospitality infrastructure, whilst also being bordered by landmark civic spaces and parklands. General Duties: Leading and contributing to projects across all stages, from concept design to project handover Managing consultant teams, clients, and internal design teams Driving strong design outcomes while maintaining technical rigour Producing and reviewing high‑quality documentation in Revit Contributing to mentoring and development of team members Working collaboratively while confidently operating autonomously when required About you: You may be an Architect or Senior Interior Designer who is eager to grow alongside our Lead Partner. You need to be a generalist, both in ability and mindset, and be able to apply your strong design knowledge into something that is inspiring yet functional. To be successful in this role you will need: Significant experience delivering complex projects (typically 7 years) Strong design, design development, and construction knowledge Advanced Revit capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience in Workspace, Health Science, Commercial, or Education projects (highly regarded) A collaborative, open‑minded approach and genuine passion for design What is on Offer?
