About the Position In this role, youll coordinate daily container transport movements across a busy, fast-paced operation, ensuring deliveries and collections are scheduled efficiently and on time. Working closely with drivers and internal teams, youll help maximise fleet utilisation, respond to changing operational demands, and keep freight moving safely and smoothly throughout the day. Youll play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently by managing schedules, communicating with drivers, and using transport systems to coordinate container movements across the network. Key Responsibilitie s Coordinate and schedule daily container transport movements across the fleet Allocate driver runs for FCL deliveries and empty container collections Manage bookings through Containerchain and VBS platforms to optimise fleet utilisation Communicate with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Monitor and respond to changing operational requirements in a fast-paced environment Ensure all job information and movement data is accurately entered and maintained Support fleet maintenance planning and compliance requirements Work to strict deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service delivery Troubleshoot scheduling and operational issues with a proactive, solutions-focused approach Maintain strong working relationships with customers, drivers, and operational stakeholders Experience Required Previous experience in transport scheduling, fleet control, or logistics coordination Experience working within the container transport, freight, or logistics industry Strong understanding of transport operations and fleet utilisation principles Knowledge of Main Roads Regulations and transport compliance requirements Experience using transport management systems and scheduling platforms Exposure to Containerchain, MT Data, and/or 1-Stop VBS highly regarded Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment High-level communication and stakeholder management skills Confident computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes How to Apply: Click on the Apply button to submit your application or for more information please contact: WorkPac Principal Consultant: Tom Caldow on (08) 6462 11or workpac.com quoting the below reference number.
