What you'll be doing Assisting anaesthetists and other clinical staff in the preparation, administration and monitoring of anaesthesia Ensuring the anaesthetic equipment and environment are maintained in a safe and compliant manner Providing high-quality patient care and support before, during and after surgical procedures Documenting all relevant information and maintaining accurate patient records Participating in staff training and professional development activities Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures and quality standards What we're looking for Certificate IV in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years' experience as an Anaesthetic Technician/ Anaesthetic Nurse in a hospital or day surgery setting Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of anaesthetic procedures and equipment Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care Valid Australian work rights are essential for this position What we offer At Perth Day Hospital, we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment that enables our employees to thrive.
