Job Description Ramsay Health Care is seeking a commercially focused Senior HR Business Partner to drive the delivery of our Commercial People Strategy across the business. Partnering closely with senior Commercial leaders, you will translate strategy into practical workforce solutions that enhance performance, capability and organisational effectiveness. This is a senior partnering role operating across both strategic and operational domains. You will provide expert guidance across employee and industrial relations, build leadership capability, and ensure people initiatives are tightly aligned to business priorities while effectively managing risk. Operating within a complex, multi-site environment, you will influence outcomes at scale and deliver people solutions that enable sustainable commercial success. What You’ll Do In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior Commercial leaders, embedding people strategies that directly enable business performance. You will balance strategic influence with hands-on delivery across employee relations, industrial relations and organisational change. Key accountabilities include: Partner with Commercial leaders to translate people strategy into practical workforce solutions. Embed people initiatives that drive performance, productivity and capability uplift. Provide expert advice on people-related risk, opportunity and workforce decisions. Lead and support enterprise bargaining processes, including negotiation and implementation. Provide guidance on Awards, Enterprise Agreements and employment legislation. Manage complex employee and industrial relations matters ensuring fair, compliant and consistent outcomes. Build leadership capability across the business through coaching and advisory support. Support workforce planning, talent and succession strategies aligned to business needs. Lead the people aspects of organisational change, restructures and transformation. Use data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. Partner with People, Legal and operational stakeholders to ensure governance and alignment. What You’ll Bring You are a confident and commercially astute HR leader with strong business partnering capability and experience operating in complex environments. You are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and balancing business outcomes with people and risk considerations. Key skills and experience include: Significant experience in a Senior HR Business Partner or HR leadership role within a complex, multi-site environment. Strong track record of translating people strategy into practical workforce solutions. Extensive experience in industrial relations, including enterprise bargaining and Award interpretation. Deep knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards. Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters including performance, grievances and investigations. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders. Experience supporting organisational change, transformation and workforce transitions. Strong analytical capability with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
