Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering quality food services, maintaining efficient kitchen operations, and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the business. Key Responsibilities : Plan menus in consultation with management, considering seasonal availability, customer preferences, and business requirements Estimate food and labour costs and contribute to maintaining kitchen budgets and profitability Prepare and cook food in accordance with established recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Demonstrate techniques and advise kitchen staff on cooking procedures and food preparation methods Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service periods Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise wastage Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and regulatory requirements Selection Criteria : Relevant qualification such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent and a relevant Diploma Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Chef Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Excellent time management and organisational skills Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum Superannuation Application Process Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their relevant experience and suitability for the role.
