Open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday, dinner service is provided on Thursday and Friday evenings, while breakfast is also served on the weekends. The club also conduct functions and special events. Our Yoder 1500S Smoker - will give the Head Chef to opportunity to develop a theme night culture similar to our Texas slow cooks. If you are passionate about this cuisine, you will enjoy the future. The Vines Golf Club wants you, to be a person that takes pride in your level of service and presentation manages the kitchen efficiently during busy service periods and has excellent communication with management and front-of-house staff. Delivering ideas for menus, operational improvement and working in partnership with the Sous Chef and Food and Beverage management team. Full Time Head Chef will be responsible for: Delivering consistent, creative and high-quality offerings Evaluating, creating, documenting and executing standard operating procedures Promoting positive work relationships with other departments. Management of food safety/HACCP standards and WHS regulations. Controlling and managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Good stock control practices. To be successful in this important leadership role you will need: Qualifications in Commercial Cookery and a minimum of two years of previous experience in a leadership role. The ability to work under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills A proven track record leading culinary operations successfully Strong management skills with strengths in inspirational leadership, financial performance and people skills Good written and oral communications skills An excellent remuneration package commensurate with skills and experience will be offered to the successful candidate.
