ACE Equipment Sales & Service is a growing, family owned company. We specialise in, but are not limited to Elevating Work Platforms, Forklifts & Telehandlers. While this has been a core part of our business we are growing in the areas of Earthmoving, Generation and Small Plant. We pride ourselves on quality work and customer service. We are seeking a mechanic to carry out Workshop work in a Leading Hand role. As a Leading Hand, your duties will include, but are not limited to: • Communication with management and mechanics to ensure smooth workflow. • Fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment. • Maintaining service records to high standards • Ensuring the reliability and capability of all plant assets • Being proactive in preventative maintenance • Involvement in equipment inspection The successful candidate will demonstrate the highest commitment to safety and customer service and possess the following: • Trade qualification • Drivers Licence • Customer Service skills • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential) • Safety awareness • Flexibility • Time management and attention to detail skills • Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills • Excellent communication skills
