About the role As a Workshop Diesel Mechanic at Elite Engines SA, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of diesel engines and vehicles. This full-time role is based in our workshop in Green Fields, SA and will play a vital part in ensuring our customers' vehicles are running at optimal performance. What you'll be doing Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered vehicles Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild engines and components as required Test and adjust engine systems and components to meet manufacturer specifications Document all work performed and maintain detailed records Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients Work collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of all jobs What we're looking for Formal qualification in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or equivalent Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's licence and own tools A 'can do' attitude What we offer Competitive salary Comprehensive training and development opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Well-equipped workshop facilities Ongoing access to the latest diagnostic tools and equipment About us Elite Engines SA is an established provider of diesel engine maintenance and repair services in South Australia.
