OpenText VIM Functional Consultant (SAP Cloud Migration) The Opportunity Milestone IT is seeking a seasoned OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Lead to spearhead a critical SAP upgrade and cloud migration project. This is not just a configuration role; you will be the functional heartbeat of a high-stakes transition, ensuring that business-as-usual (BAU) accounts payable processes remain seamless while the platform moves to a modern cloud architecture. Core Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Lead the end-to-end functional lifecycle using the SAP Activate methodology—from initial estimation and "Fit-to-Standard" workshops to final deployment. Cloud Migration & Upgrade: Manage the functional upgrade of the existing VIM solution, ensuring technical adjustments are made for compatibility with the new cloud host. Solution Design: Perform comprehensive fit/gap analysis and execute complex configurations within the OpenText VIM and SAP ECC/S4HANA ecosystems. Testing Leadership: Drive the strategy for SIT, UAT, and Regression testing. You will own defect management and ensure that "Day 1" on the new host is error-free. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the bridge between technical teams and business leadership, providing confident presentations and clear project roadmaps. Hypercare: Provide post-go-live support, user training, and documentation to ensure high adoption and operational stability. Candidate Profile VIM Expert: A proven track record in OpenText VIM (v7.5 or higher/20.x) with multiple successful implementation or upgrade cycles. Methodology Driven: Deep familiarity with SAP Activate or similar agile-based implementation frameworks. Self-Starter: The ability to manage workstreams with minimal oversight and hit aggressive project milestones. Communicator: High-level presentation skills with the ability to translate technical cloud architecture into business value for C-suite stakeholders. Technical Skills Required Expertise in VIM Document Pipeline , IES/OCR integration, and Business Center . Strong understanding of integration points with SAP FI/MM .
