Your main responsibilities will be: · Coordination of goods inward and outward. · Digital imaging of final despatches. · Unloading, unpacking and inspection of goods inwards. · Assist with purchase and control of consumables, stock and inventory items. · Maintenance and upkeep of the equipment register. · Arrange and coordinate scheduled maintenance. · Assist with monthly stocktake and reconciliation to BC. · Control the issuance of goods to the workshop. · Data entry to BC of stock movements, goods received and consumables. · Filing of completed PO’s. · Gas storage and control. · Coordination and upkeep of pallet racks and all storage areas. · Forklift driving as required. General Responsibilities: HSE Responsibilities: · Ensure the appropriate JSA’s are referenced for all work carried out. Assess their suitability and adequacy for the task. · Develop and nurture a safety-first environment and culture within our organisation · Adhere to Company Occupational Health Safety (OHS) policies · Adhere to Company Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies · Adhere to any local and industry legislation surrounding OHS and HSE · Always ensure all incidents and near misses are reported to management / safety department as soon as possible · Ensure personal HSE Training and associated certification are current · Strive to achieve personal HSE Objectives IT Responsibilities: · Ensure information is properly classified, labelled, handled, stored and disposed of. · Good knowledge of computers and relevant software applications such as Microsoft office suite Qualification and Education Requirements: · Current National High Risk Forklift licence. · Current HR truck license. · Previous stores and logistics experience. · Excellent attention to detail · Ability to use initiative Skill Requirements: · Good presentation communication skills. · Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail. · Ability to learn quickly from detailed practical training · Team oriented. · Ability to work within a small team to achieve deadlines. · Demonstrate reliability · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Customer service orientation This position description is not necessarily a complete list of all job functions, requirements or working conditions.
