About the Role: Hourly Rate: $70 - $75 per hour (depending on experience) $65 daily LAHA Roster: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off Hours: 10 hour days Monday - Saturday (Sundays RDO) FIFO: Fly-in, Fly-out from Perth Location: Christmas Island Start Date: 26th June 2026 Pay Schedule: Weekly pay Position Type: 6 months project Skills and Experience required to perform this role: MUST have: At least 2 years in Reverse Circulation Drilling is essential, Front-End Loaders in mining or earthmoving operation and Excavator operation experience will be advantageous. Demonstrated safe record in the operation and care of heavy plant Basic mechanical knowledge Demonstrated ability to follow safety and risk management procedures Willingness to be flexible and agile in the safe execution of standard and ad hoc work requirements Operate a Epiroc D65 Drill Rig or X100 Air Core Rig for Grade Control & Resource Drilling programs Work closely with drilling offsider to ensure sample integrity and rig safety is maintained Assist MPM maintenance crew with breakdowns/maintaining the Epiroc D65 Drill rig Assist mining and haulage operations by performing floating of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Requirements 'C' Class Drivers' License or equivalent (HR License desirable) Certificate III in drilling operations or higher Senior First Aid Conduct wheeled loader operations (desirable) National Police Clearance (within 6 months) * Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen How to Apply: If you meet the above criteria and are interested in this opportunity, please follow the prompts to apply!
