Full-time Chef required for a busy Italian pizzeria at 366 Bridge Road, Richmond, VIC 3121. Fratellino Richmond is seeking a skilled full-time chef to join its highly skilled kitchen team in Richmond. We are looking for someone who is creative, organised, passionate and experienced. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Menu planning, estimating food and labour costs. • Preparing and cooking menu items. • Training and supervision of apprentices and less experienced staff. • Adhering to, explaining and enforcing of hygiene regulations. • Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation. • Delegation of tasks to other team members. • Supervise Cooks and assist as needed. • Monitor food stock and place orders. Requirements: •Qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert IV or higher) •Minimum 1 year experience in the commercial kitchen •Flexible availability •Good communication skills •Ability to work unsupervised and in a team •Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements •Experienced in Italian Cuisine.
