The role will begin as ongoing casual, working full-time hours, Monday to Friday on a dayshift. There is opportunity for the role to transition to permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety standards. Perform machine operations as required. Work collaboratively within a team to meet production targets. Ensure quality standards and take pride in your work. Maintain a safety-first attitude and follow all safety protocols. General warehousing duties. Selecting product for orders. Receiving and storing materials in a safe and organised manner. Picking and packing orders for dispatch. Managing inventory and stock levels. Liaise daily with management and team members to coordinate and allocate stock for dispatch. Performing regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies. Key Skills & Attributes: Ability to work well within a team and coordinate with others. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Good attention to detail and pride in your work. Possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Reliable and ready to work. Flexibility to accommodate shift schedules. Qualifications & Experience: A current and valid Forklift Licence with proven experience is essential . Previous experience as a 2IC is highly regarded, though individuals seeking career advancement are also be encouraged to apply. Experience in a recent Stores or Warehouse position. Manufacturing or production experience. Proficient use of hand and power tools or a mechanical trade background. The selection process will include an interview, medical (Drugs and Alcohol) and functional assessment as well as the ability to produce a clean police check.
