About the role Wakefield Gardens Surgery is seeking a Casual / Part Time Registered Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated healthcare team in Ainslie, ACT. This part-time role offers flexible work arrangements to provide coverage for leave and meet the needs of our busy community practice. What you'll be doing Providing direct patient care, including assessments, administering medications, and coordinating treatment plans Collaborating with doctors, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive patient care Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records Assisting with the implementation of infection control and health and safety protocols Supporting the training and supervision of junior nursing staff and students Actively participating in continuing professional development to maintain and enhance nursing knowledge and skills What we're looking for Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Minimum of 1 years' experience in a general medical Strong clinical nursing skills, with experience in areas such as wound care, medication management, and patient education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant healthcare technologies Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care What we offer At Wakefield Gardens Surgery and The Surgery in Manuka Terrace, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal development of our staff.
