Trammel Tooling are looking for an experienced Turner who is confident working on large lathes with components up to 6000mm long. Types of work would vary from 1 off's, to small batch work of around 4 to 6 components. About Trammel: We are a medium sized, family owned company with a modern air-conditioned building, located in Wingfield. There are overhead cranes, forklift and lifting devices for loading the machines and a factory cleaner to keep a clean working environment. The position: The successful candidate must be confident in setting up and machining large components such as shafts, drums, flanges, couplings and wheels. Working to fine tolerances and surface finish requirements is essential. The role is dayshift Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:06pm (38hrs a week), renumeration based on experience.
