Cultural Advisor Normanton, QLD Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the role is responsible for providing high-level strategic advice on improving Council’s provision of cultural expertise and support to staff, contributes to the development of our workforce and project management and ensures cultural safety within Council’s service delivery. This is an advisory position that promotes and enhances Council’s knowledge and awareness on areas of cultural importance and understanding in a Local Government environment. The Cultural Advisor plays a key stakeholder relationship role with council service delivery and is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan, cultural monitoring activities, compliance with agreements and partnerships and representing Council at official meetings and functions.
