Cairns | School-hour friendly opportunity The Manufacturing part of Australian Professional Galvanizing is seeking an Administration Support Officer to join our Cairns manufacturing team. Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for a reliable, organised and detail-focused person to support our manufacturing operations through accurate job administration, purchasing support, stock control, invoicing, documentation and general office administration. This role is well suited to someone looking for meaningful office-based work, with hours that can be structured to accommodate candidates who may be limited by school hours. About the role You will support the Operations Coordinator, the Manufacturing Estimator, and manufacturing team by assisting with: A minimum of 3 years administration or office support experience is required, with general manufacturing industry knowledge being essential for this position. Job setup and administration in our ERP system Moderate experience with ERP systems is required to effectively manage job setup and administration tasks. Purchase orders and supplier follow-up Stock control, receipting and inventory support Invoicing and delivery documentation Transport booking documentation Electronic filing, reporting and general administration Maintaining accurate system data and records About you You will have: Strong attention to detail Good organisational skills Previous administration experience, ideally in manufacturing, logistics, stock control or a similar operational environment Demonstrated competence with MS suite Clear communication skills A reliable and proactive approach Experience with purchasing, inventory, ERP or MRP systems will be highly regarded.
