DFP Recruitment is seeking experienced cabinetmaker for opportunities within a busy marine and shipbuilding environment. Working within the Outfitting and Ships Carpentry team, you will support the successful delivery of projects through quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and efficient completion of assigned tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for trade-qualified candidates with experience in carpentry, shipwright work, or marine outfitting. To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen . It is mandatory requirement to provide a Police Clearance valid within three months . Key Responsibilities Complete outfitting and ships carpentry tasks as directed by the Fit-Out Project Manager and Leading Hands Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OH&S requirements Identify and report unsafe acts or site conditions Accurately complete daily timecards and required documentation Request appropriate materials and consumables through Leading Hands Participate in quality inspections and sign-off processes Follow all relevant business management procedures and workplace policies Provide assistance and guidance to apprentices where required Skills & Experience Trade qualification as a Shipwright, Builder, or Carpenter Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Experience reading and interpreting drawings Strong understanding of workplace safety practices Ability to complete outfitting work to a high standard Reliable time management and punctuality Desirable Basic OH&S certification Experience operating basic power tools If you would like to be considered for the role, please APPLY NOW !
