We’re seeking a reliable, customer-focused team member to join our operations team. This role involves delivering, installing, and maintaining pressure care equipment across hospitals in SA. You’ll be working closely with nursing staff and often in sensitive areas of hospitals where vulnerable clients are present, so professionalism, empathy, and exceptional customer service are essential. Your "New" Day to Day: Support the Operations Manager to ensure efficient workflows and service delivery Clean, sanitise, label, inspect, and prepare pressure care and rental equipment Identify faults and complete repairs and testing & tagging where certified Maintain clean, organised work areas in line with standard operating procedures Load/unload vehicles and assist with dispatch and stock preparation Deliver, install, and collect equipment from hospitals Complete delivery and service documentation accurately Provide professional, friendly customer service Assist with ad-hoc tasks and continuously look for efficiency improvements About You Excellent communication skills Have a professional and courteous manner To build rapport and relationships with the clients e.g. Nurses, Nursing Unit Managers, therapists etc. To communicate to ILS Pressure Care of any account issues or areas of opportunity whilst interfacing with the hospitals. A genuine desire to assist customers with empathy Previous technical experience is also an advantage Ability to work unsupervised, and collaboratively with your team Experience in equipment handling or cleaning Strong work ethic, punctuality, and initiative Ability to follow procedures and quality standards Physically fit and capable of manual tasks Flexibility to work some Sundays and Public Holidays Worker Checks/Vaccinations: A current Australian Drivers License (provisional/learners licenses will not be accepted) Driver history report Must provide a current National Police Clearance Check Must provide a working with Children Check Flu vaccination Covid-19 Vaccination record as per the SA Health Department What we offer At Independent Living Specialists', we are committed to supporting our employees and providing a positive, inclusive work environment.
