About the work unit / facility: The Townsville University Hospital Physiotherapy Department sits within the Allied Health Services Division and is directed by a physiotherapist. Services are provided across the continuum of care to all appropriate patient groups across inpatient, outpatient and domiciliary settings. (HP4) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available About your opportunity: To contribute to a 7-day extended hours physiotherapy service within the Emergency Department at The Townsville University Hospital (including the Short Stay Unit) by delivering high level physiotherapy clinical services to presenting patients and high-level advice regarding physiotherapy relevant to the emergency setting for staff, service managers and health care consumers of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. The position is integral to maintaining standards of physiotherapy practice in the Emergency Department and contributing to the development of physiotherapy services in this area. Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable). Possession of class C drivers' licence. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
